About UsThe Young Makers program brings together like-minded young people, adult mentors, and fabrication facilities to help more kids make more things. Its collaborative community celebrates an open-ended culture of creativity, innovation, and experimentation. We are creating an infrastructure to nurture older kids and teens who want to expand beyond the construction kits of early childhood to meld diverse disciplines—math, science, art, craft, engineering, green design, music, and more—into ambitious projects. Members exhibit final projects at a Maker Faire or similar signature event.
